The holidays are one of the best times in Las Vegas. While it may be over 70 degrees and sunny here, the Las Vegas community does not lack in holiday cheer. Here are a couple of places that guarantee a fun time filled with holiday themed festivities:

Downtown Summerlin hosts an annual parade filled with lights, floats inspired by classic holiday movies, dancers, and even some snow! This event is always free and open to everyone in our community. It is held Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm during November 15th– December 21st.

Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest is a go-to this holiday season. Hundreds of decorated Christmas trees and thousands of lights surround you when you enter. They have games, activities, and great food that allow the entire family to have a great time. The Magical Forest is $9 for children ($18 with rides) and $11 for adults ($20 with rides). Opening day is November 29th and will stay open until January 4th.

Not only is the Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan a great activity for the family, but it also gives you a great view of our Las Vegas Strip! The Ice Rink features special themed night throughout the season for example, Monday movie nights, DJ Wednesdays, and Throwback Thursday where they play hits from the 70s 80s and 90s. The Ice Rink is opened Mon-Fri 3PM-12AM and Sat-Sun 12PM-12AM. All day skating access is $20, and Monday through Thursday, all day skating access for Nevada residents, hotel guests and military is $10. Additionally, skate aid seals and reindeer are available for $10 an hour.

The holidays are a great time for Las Vegas, and there is no shortage of things you can do. There is something for everyone that wants some holiday cheer during this time of year.
